Dan Whisenhunt to head worldwide sales

Ballico, Calif., March 29, 2004 – Hilltop Ranch, Inc., a California almond processor and exporter, has appointed Dan Whisenhunt as Director of Sales.

Ewing is a Davis, California native and graduate of Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo) with a degree in Agribusiness / International Marketing. Recently he worked as an independent broker of dried fruit and tree nuts, and served an internship with Ryan-Parreira Almond Company in Los Banos, California.

While a student, he studied abroad for one year at Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago, Chile, and worked at a cocoa processing plant in Valencia, Spain. He also worked for a rice processor and marketer in Davis, California.

Ewing’s responsibilities at Hilltop Ranch include development of new markets, and strengthening trade relations.

Hilltop Ranch, Inc. is one of California’s largest independent almond processors, with main offices and processing facilities in Ballico (Merced County).
