      Once strictly a market for hard shell Peerless variety almonds, inshell almond buyers today demand soft shell varieties, mainly Nonpareil inshell. Hilltop Ranch is an experienced exporter of inshell almonds, and will gladly quote your requirements in-season. We pack Nonpareil, Sonora, Carmel, Monterey, Peerless, and other varieties inshell, subject to price and availability. Inshell almonds are packed in 50-lb. bags.

Hilltop Ranch is proud to offer organic almonds from California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF).  Due to its reputation for integrity and transparency, Hilltop has grown to become one of the world’s largest handlers of organic almonds.  Varieties and grades most commonly available include Nonpareil Supreme Unsized, Carmel Type Supreme Unsized, and Cal/Mission types Unsized in various grades.

What is CCOF?

CCOF is the only full-service, organic certification agency and trade association in North America and is one of the oldest and largest certification organizations in the Western Hemisphere. CCOF certifies organic growers, processors, wholesalers, brokers, private labelers and retailers and has been recognized and respected for maintaining integrity in organics since 1973. CCOF’s global access program ensures compliance with a variety of international standards to ensure acceptance of our members’ organic products domestically and abroad. CCOF’s broad range of accreditations include U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) under the National Organic Program (NOP), ISO Guide 65 and International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM).

Hilltop Ranch has implemented and strictly maintains its adherence to HACCP procedures as a means of mitigating risks to food product safety or the disruption of supply to its valued customers.

BRC Certification

In July 2012, Hilltop Ranch Inc. was certified with an A Rating by the British Retail Consortium, for compliance with the Global Standard for Food Safety.
